Shrink tube is measured by diameter, measured by the diameter of an open circle...IT IS NOT measured by the flat external width but if you need to know the width of the tubing in its flat form (before it is shrunk down) please see below;

25mm Size - approx 38mm wide in flat form
30mm Size - approx 48mm wide in flat form
40mm Size - approx 63mm wide in flat form
50mm Size - approx 80mm wide in flat form

Our black deluxe shrink wrap tubing is thicker and softer than the majority of shrink wrap tubing being sold on the market today, resulting in a more comfortable, durable, non-slip grip and finish. It has a 2:1 shrink ratio, which basically means it will shrink to half of its size. For example, a 30mm shrink wrap tubing will shrink to 15mm and a 20mm shrink wrap tubing will shrink to 10mm. You can use either a hair dryer or heat gun to shrink the tubing down (heat gun is quicker). Hot water can also be used but be careful not to burn yourself!

Whether used internally or externally, our shrink wrap tubing will provide a durable and decorative finish that will last for years.
